But I wasn't paying attention to the term until I came across the Reformed Forum Podcast on it. Bought the book by J.K. Drake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Summary:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Debated strongly to no resolution by Luther and Zwingli at Marburg Colloquy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later Peter Martyr Vermigli's argument was strongly supported by Calvin, but attacked by the Lutheran Johannes Brenz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The idea of Luther towards theosis vs. the stereotyped Zwingli's memorialist\/symbolism of the sacrament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later in 1551, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.creeds.net\/Tigurinus\/tigur-bunt.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Consensus Tigurinus<\/a> was <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Consensus_Tigurinus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">published<\/a> by the reformers between Calvin and Heinrich Bullinger (a student of Zwingli).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This has been brought up in my discussion with Alex on the Impeccability of Christ before and other minor issues.
