A pastor at MERF (Messiah Reformed NYC) once bragged that how his ministry was blessed because he knew to ask a very rich guy for money to start his ministry in NYC. The rich guy was so generous that he basically gave him a blank check. He has since justified certain kinds of lies & white lies, etc. in one of his sermon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this and James 5:2-4, I suppose there is a lesson to be learned: Is our source of power from God or from men?<\/strong> (Stephen Tong was clear on this specifically in his series on Daniel's servitude).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
