\nNow they are trying to legalize homosexual marriage in New York City. It is a surprise to see people surprise at the 50\/50<\/a> for and against the legislation.\n<\/p>\n

\nIt is a great burden upon the delicate framework of God's institute. Nevertheless, such is merely a chip from the block. The more we see our sins, the heavier we find the darkness around us; The holier we live in Christ in our new lives, the more we recognize God's inculpable power.\n<\/p>\n

\nI recalled when someone once optimistically exclaimed how New Yorkers are far from the enigma of California with its proposition 8.\n<\/p>\n

\n55% women vs 44% men supporting gay marriage. This reminded me of a few incidents at church whenever such issue came up, when there's talk of homosexuality is sin, the offended party just seems to be women. Since I'm not a sexist, I would look for other causes to blame: city luxury while also causes great many problems for men (ie. greed, laziness, lust, etc.), usually deprives women of family value. So in a twisted sense, while men justify their sense of the opposite sex with lust, the women justify it with "as long as it's peaceful, satisfactory, everyone minding their own business and they are happy, why not the homosexuals have their own family value".\n<\/p>\n

\nAll this does make me ponder upon the ministry of using the PCUSA church which seems to have a good shelter program. I believe it is a good tool to begin evangelical ministry in the city to some extend. The only problem is, PCUSA (Presbyterian Church of USA) has issues on this subject. Perhaps it is a challenge for me.\n<\/p>\n
