Fixed Our home's first floor compressor<\/strong> (Goodman GSX130301BB<\/strong>), the fan has not been running for a while (a week or two, or more?) and I remembered two years ago (2024) the annual inspection we paid for (Bill Leary) had their guy examined these and told me that the capacitor's (old model: CAP050400440RT) running low (probably since 2012, the age of the compressor), which is a common problem over time. A quick AI question on google told me that the common cause of fan not working is due to the capacitor. So I went to Home Depot which carries these<\/a> capacitors <\/strong>(for mine: dual run capacitor is 40\/5 \u00b5F (MFD) rated at 440 VAC: TITAN HD 40 Plus 5 MFD 440\/370-Volt Round Run Capacitor), news to me, and the replacement (with AI's\/Youtube's guide: shutdown power breaker in basement, remove compressor fuse, unscrew and replace the product) was swift and the compressor fan works immediately! AI nowadays can just analyze the photos and answer you without much text description typing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One tricky part is the brown and beige wire colors which I almost got confused of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
