In device manager, there's no special indication. I had to look under 'System Devices' to find a 'unknown' device. In its property it says the location is on Intel(R) 82801FBM LPC Interface......\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThis problem did not come originally with the laptop so I would assume either some virus or software un\/installation had caused it.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nDelete it and it will come back after hardware scan.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/social.technet.microsoft.com\/Forums\/en\/w7itprohardware\/thread\/aa965e55-de21-4dd0-93e2-05e6d1453ed2\" target=\"_blank\">James Norman<\/a>, I have stopped it from happening. But I cannot be sure of any side-effect, because I now see two identical devices listed under System Devices in Device Manager as &quot;Intel(R) 82801FBM LPC Interface Controller - 2641&quot;.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nHere's the solution:\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<em>1. Right click on the device, and goto Properties.<br \/>\n2. Goto the Driver tab, and click on Update Driver.<br \/>\n3. Click on the &quot;Browse my computer for driver software&quot; option, then let me pick from a list of device drivers.<br \/>\n4. Click on the show all devices option, and then select Intel from the Manufacturer side.<br \/>\n5. In the right hand side (Model) scroll down until you find your Model,<br \/>\nin my case it was Intel(R) 82801FBM LPC Interface Controller -<br \/>\n2641.<strong>(Note the (R) on Intel.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On my Fujitsu P1510 tablet notebook, there's this annoying pop up saying unknown hardware found.
