Although there are many missionaries, pastors, one must be truly called by God to serve, to be a true servant of God.<\/p>\n
The
\ncalling of God is not ambition. One must be clear of God's calling. If
\none is unclear, how could he dare to serve? humility? Nay, such
\nhumility is fake and it's even worse than pride. An excuse from
\nresponsibilities.<\/p>\n
True, there could be mistakes, but one must be bold to keep working for God, if mistakes were made, correct them immediately.<\/p>\n
Nonetheless,
\nif one is not called by God, one cannot even begin presume these
\nresponsibilities. As Martin Luther once said, one must in fact run away
\nfrom these as if running away from hell's fire. (According to Dr.
\nStephen Tong, I have yet to confirm this myself).<\/p>\n
Anyway, one who
\nis called must also be holy. Then there's a question where if one
\nsinned, would that void his calling? The question would be relative.
\nBecause God's calling is up to God, not up to man. However, God's
\nservants must also keep themselves in check with God. So, only those
\nwho are called by God would have to honestly search for the answer as
\nto why he sinned, what's next. Many however, would just take God's
\nforgiveness for granted and presume that God's still using them, while
\nin fact they were actually being pitied by their congregations hidden
\nby the fake respect shown by the congregations. Therefore, there's no
\nabsolute answer to this.<\/p>\n
As to telling if one is called by God. I
\nwould say it is easier to tell if one is not called by God than to tell
\nif one is truly called by God. Nonetheless, in time, either answers
\nshould be quite clear. It is just sad that many would be afraid to
\n"judge" this. It has become a habit where even when one admitted one is
\nnot a christian, other christians would still like to believe this
\nanswer to be abstract, relative, and therefore still assume one is
\nchristian...or...almost christian, and "preach" but actually treated
\nhim as if he's christian. Therefore, it is clear that the Truth has
\nbeen obscured once more. Very sad.<\/p>\n
