The best understanding of basic trinity concept is via the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shield_of_the_Trinity\" target=\"_blank\">Shield of the Trinity (There is only 1 God in 3 persons - the Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God; The Father is not the Son nor the Holy Spirit, the Son is not the Holy Spirit)<\/a>. However, there are those who believe themselves more creative. I shall list them here, and note the danger of their illustrations, which is either modalism\/sabellianism (1 God in 3 forms) or tritheism (3 gods).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class='MathJax_Preview'><img src='http:\/\/nycphantom.com\/journal\/wp-content\/plugins\/latex\/cache\/tex_45e46989e3704bc2ba0899724acdca5c.gif' style='vertical-align: middle; border: none; ' class='tex' alt=\"\" \/><\/span><script type='math\/tex'><\/script>. 3 forms of water: gas, liquid, solid.<br \/>\nFlaw: <span class='MathJax_Preview'><img src='http:\/\/nycphantom.com\/journal\/wp-content\/plugins\/latex\/cache\/tex_45e46989e3704bc2ba0899724acdca5c.gif' style='vertical-align: middle; border: none; ' class='tex' alt=\"\" \/><\/span><script type='math\/tex'><\/script> in gas is the same <span class='MathJax_Preview'><img src='http:\/\/nycphantom.com\/journal\/wp-content\/plugins\/latex\/cache\/tex_45e46989e3704bc2ba0899724acdca5c.gif' style='vertical-align: middle; border: none; ' class='tex' alt=\"\" \/><\/span><script type='math\/tex'><\/script> in liquid and solid form (Modalism).<\/li>\n<li>the Sun's being, light, heat.<br \/>\nFlaw: Light and heat are not the Sun itself (Tritheism).<\/li>\n<li>flower's shape, color, smell<br \/>\nFlaw: None are actually the flower (tritheism).<\/li>\n<li>1 x 1 x 1 = 1<br \/>\nFlaw: 1 x 1 x 1 is not 3 (modalism); 1 + 1 + 1 = 3 (tritheism). 1 x 1 x 1 x 1 = 1 (quadrinity issue). Further confusion: <span class='MathJax_Preview'><img src='http:\/\/nycphantom.com\/journal\/wp-content\/plugins\/latex\/cache\/tex_b23d004b1ed68f893858bf5271a91c6e.gif' style='vertical-align: middle; border: none; ' class='tex' alt=\"\" \/><\/span><script type='math\/tex'><\/script> (possibly docetism).
