I finally solved my USB problem after researching for a solution for 3 hours.<\/p>\n

" Pretty much exactly what happened to me. 6 USB ports on one pc all stop working. Devices all work on other computers. (XP Pro)<\/p>\n After going thru mobo manual, looking for driver updates, un-installing devices & re-installing, troubleshooting each port etc etc, I was considering power management options, BIOS tweaks etc then found the following.<\/p>\n SOLUTION:<\/p>\n Power off pc. Remove AC power cord from pc for a few seconds. Plug back in & reboot.<\/p>\n Something to do with residual capacitance\/current I am led to believe. Seemed too good to be true when I read about it, but it sure worked for me."<\/em><\/p>\n Come to think of it, I can't believe it's this simple...felt like an idiot wasting 3 hours for such simple solution.
