Ben Shapiro & John MacArthur

It truly astounded me when this happened. Ben Shapiro, an orthodox Jew whose fame comes from his public conservative stand against the public left, strongly clinging to his Jewish heritage, greatly admired by and admiring his Christian friends, now, interviewed John MacArthur, famous pastor who stood on biblical ground since Larry King's interview.

Apart from MacArthur's firm advocacy for dispensationalim (originalist), his consistency on the Gospel to whomever he speaks to (Ben) is rare and commands respect from fellow Christians, those who love the name of our Lord.

This exchange serves as a means for those who are interested in communicating the Gospel to the Jews.

Finally, There's really going to be a Ferry between South Amboy and Manhattan

This is good. Not good for my sea-sick wife, but very good for me.

I wonder how much the ferry fare will be...hopefully not too expensive. A 40 minute ferry ride from Amboy to Wall Street/South Manhattan. Not too bad. I love ferries. Love the sea.

I was afraid that this long awaited project was shut down, cancelled. But apparently, we should have ferry service by 2020. If this works out, that means South Amboy's property value will rise.

The evidence of tribalism

结党的证据:

When those who practice and laim bold criticism against others but never against their own members ("党员").

I come to this thought while recalling some of Alex Tseng's actions, how he broke up with Stephen Tong with much comments, as well as his criticisms on other matters as if he's on the side of righteousness. Yet, he would act impartially when it comes to his close friends as I observed on Facebook. In fact, it is more on the flattery praise side. From Mark Jones to Nathaniel Gray Sutanto to Powell Sung. What's funny is one time Alex declared immediate censorship against whoever speak rudely on his posts, Powell Sung immediately commented rudely but in support of Alex. In a split personality moment, Alex had to comment against his best pal Powell but had to tolerate in such a way that he will not lose his 党员. I don't think Alex will take such emotionally drastic measure next time.

Anyway, his criticisms are either copied from somewhere he hoped nobody searches but credible, or taking others' words out of context using word play. I'm paying attention on his actions because he was close to Pak Tong before and apparently now allying himself with enemies of Pak Tong as well as surface praisers (which include admirers of Pak Tong who are either clueless or ignorant about all these, ironically).

The Emotion of Humanity: Can Technology Become Sentient?

This is meant to be a long hypothetical dialogue.

Q: The question essentially comes down to human emotion. Can emotion be quantified? If I tell my wife/girlfriend that I have presented all evidence for my love for her, she just lacks the logic or the IQ to get it, can you prove to me why I have the print of her hand palm on my face? What is the logic in that? And what of beauty? Creativity? Show me how you would quantify it with or without room for further potential!
