Hissing at F natural or F key is displaced by F# or G.
It is likely a fingerboard problem. I need to raise the groove in the nut of the neck on E String.
This problem of my RM3,000 violin given by my parents, who bought it from China, hand made by famed violin maker He En 何恩, father of He Guang Hong 何广(it does not look like '广' in the signature signed in my violin, looks more like 渶)宏 in 1992, is most likely caused by one of my violin teacher, introduced by Simon's mother. And old guy who made some trimming here and there on my violin at the beginning of my lesson. I do not remember his name. In fact, I don't remember many of my violin tutors' names: Mr. Woon Wen Kim, and that old 'genius', and one introduced by Hannah's mother, and one who's brother plays cello...I just can't remember her name, and Ms. Ooi Cheng Hong.
I don't know why my violin is signed by two names. Perhaps it was made by both father and son.
I have solved it by raising the bridge of E string. I have also done the same for G string since it also has the same problem.
It would appear that if the first finger note is a semitone from the open string, the solution is at the bridge. Otherwise, it could be caused by the shallow nut.
I used paper to raise the bridge grooves temporarily, since I cannot find anything else and I really don't want to replace the bridge.
