Vocabulary: Cavil 吹毛求疵

Cavil: "An evasion of the point of an argument by raising irrelevant distinctions or objections"

I didn't know there's a word for this. Tho I have seen many smartypants trying to do this.

    It must be noted that when I say this, I am also referring to those who mean no harm or think they have good intention/support.

    Therefore, whether they are deliberate or not, they have committed cavil.
