I am guessing it's the high Nitrate (40+ ppm). So far that's been my only dilemma. Although, there's some black spots growing on both shrimps. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reef2reef.com\/threads\/peppermint-shrimp-black-spots-disease.802045\/\">I did a quick google and it was said<\/a> to be black spot disease (bacteria) due to bad water quality. Or <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.saltwaterfish.com\/threads\/please-help-id-black-spots-on-shrimp.161185\/\">Epicaridean Isopod<\/a>. Quite a number of results for google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I purchased some magnetic coral frag rack in order to raise future frags up closer to the light to get more PAR. But before that could happen, I need my tank to be low on Nitrate. So I'm currently trying to figure out how, without much water change. I placed all the dead frags on those racks and I think I am seeing some green algae growing on them but very slowly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lawnmower Blenny was a good choice. It started eating brown (diatoms?) on the glass and live rocks.
