The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.experts-exchange.com\/questions\/29068915\/Windows-UPdates-failing-on-10-Pro.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">solution<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><b>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWAR<wbr \/>E\\Policies<wbr \/>\\Microsoft<wbr \/>\\Windows\\W<wbr \/>indowsUpda<wbr \/>te\\AU<\/b><\/p>\n<p>DoubleClick on UseWUServer and change the value to 0.<\/p>\n<p>(USEWUServer value 0 mean takes update from Microsoft Website)<br \/>\n(USEWUServer value 1 mean takes update from WSUS Server)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The other part of the solution was suggested from the source but I have no use of it:<br \/>\n<b>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWAR<wbr \/>E\\Policies<wbr \/>\\Microsoft<wbr \/>\\Windows\\W<wbr \/>indowsUpda<wbr \/>te<\/b><\/p>\n<p>from above path Delete WUServer and WUStatusServer entry. \u00a0 (If it is exist)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It appears that this happen to my work computer because its Windows Update is synced with the domain.
