The Visions of Jesus in the Muslim World

The testimonies are troubling at times.

I cannot take it too lightly, especially when this is happening at times and places where the Charismatics and the weak doctrinal movements heralding the Christian name around the world, particularly in the Arabs.

One thing to watch for is: Is the effect of such visions a watering down of the cost of the cross?

It is one thing to claim belief based on supernatural effects like an obsessive fan, it is yet another to reconcile with one's Savior.

Human Nudity

The forbidden fruit from the Garden of Eden persists today. Particularly in the form of human nudity. How one understands it, the beauty of it, without God's providence and guidance, results in sinful disobedience.

It is therefore not over. The first sin, the desire for knowledge and satisfaction without God.

Defending Lang Lang's Hong Kong Interview

I've once criticized Lang Lang's character judging from the interview he had in regards to accessing his opinion on the Chinese girl lip syncing to the Olympics singing performance. The West went viral crazy against China's ethics. Lang Lang's refusal to comment stripped him of having any moral stand, becoming a mere entertainment puppet.

Now that my thought has matured a bit, I will add, a defense for Lang Lang. He could easily have replied:

This is a question for Hollywood actors, go ask them!

Sharepoint Threshold 5000 items limit

It seems that when browsing Sharepoint Online files for more than 5000 items, it will break and say "The server is busy now. Try again later..."

A solution I could think of is to do OneDrive sync with a local computer and handling the files locally. But others suggest making folders and etc.

Dealing with People Giving me Money I did not Ask for

When people do that for no good reason, I don't play this I give you back round and round game. I interpret it as God in His mighty providence and foreknowing power is showing me what they are actually saying:

"Tim, I'm sorry, I don't know how to use this $2000 USD, so God is asking me to give it to you, you can better use it for it would be a waste on me."

Matthew 13:12

LinkedIn, Adobe Got Hacked?

This appears to be causing some panic at my company lately.

Spoof mails (usually sending as recipient's address) claiming to be a darknet hacker and sometimes revealing passwords of users asking for bitcoin payment.

It seems that this is related to a recent LinkedIn hack or something.

MERF: Sermon Today on Psalm 107 by Dan Ragusa

Ragusa: chapter has broken into East, West, North, South.

My reflection:

It sets out to show God's mercy. What sinners deserve needs to be focused, elaborated, for conviction of sins (v. 11, 17)

Such is the longing is God for his people. The good relationship, that is heaven. For there is no other heaven, but hell. Yet, we image a "hell" that we desire, that is filled with beautiful things from God which we take for granted. A hell nonetheless, for those blessings will be but only vain fantasy, since there is no desire for the good relationship, which is with God. All prayers will be in vain, if there is no such good relationship.

Therefore, give thanks, praise His name for his righteousness! Come close to him with no desire to step back at all, not on holidays, not on movie nights, nor any game night.
