ACT! 2008: "Cannot find database supplemental files..."

Clientside problem in networking. Solution: On main server (where Act! is installed), open Act! as administrator. Then go to Tools -> Database Maintenance, and Check Share database.

Dell Latitude D610: "PCI Simple Communications controller"

The driver for this "unknown" device is the Texas Instruments PCI smart card under Chipset section of Dell's support download site for D610.
