Van Cortlandt Park plants/weeds

Long Bristled Smartweed (Polygonum caespitosum - Oriental Lady's Thumb): Found along the fence between park and forest. Pink flowers are obvious. Resembles Lady's Thumb (in Wildman Steve Brill's edible plants book), minus the "thumb print" on the leaves. I couldn't … Continue reading →

Morning Mist

This layer of 6am mist taken about a month ago (Van Cortlandt Park) reminds me of the supposedly rainless time of ancient Earth in Genesis 2:5-6.
