On Criticizing Pastors

I always hold to the principle of fully respecting pastors as annointed men of God.

But I cannot support pastors who do not consider themselves pastors. And this is not pertaining to mere irresponsibility in certain area. The worst kinds I have seen are those who have actually left the church.

    Matthew 23:1~3
Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: " The teachers of the law and the Phraisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practics what they preach....."

Concerning the anointing of God, those who show signs of weakness when goings get tough are as normal as anyone, but those who throw away their own pastoral call in a church and run away is creating mockery upon God's anointment, and thus need reprimand with respect to the fact that God's family is not like that. Such is popular among many Chinese immigrants in America - (After all, they assumed they should have a better life here, even as pastors).

Elijah, when he was most stressed, hoped to die - 'I am not better than my fathers' 1 Kings 19:4. Although such hope of death is still sinful; Running away (jumping out of Moses' Seat) from God's calling into better comforts and teaching others this is God's desire, already opens the door to criticisms even from non-believers (for concerning faith, these have made shipwreck-1 Timothy 1:19). Even the Scribes and the Pharisees see themselves as Scribes and Pharisees.

For Christians, it must be done in ways so that the fellow brethren see the truth and able to repent, unless until the point where Paul said "to have delivered unto Satan" 1 Timothy 1:20. Then we cease communion with them for the sake that we do not let ourselves be contaminated by their ignorance.

What more could I do, but pray for the mercy of God upon the rest of his/her family. And as for family, the pastors in question have all lived separately from their spouses or children.
