Q: According to your opinion, why is this so?
Tim: Well, for one thing, many christians have not read the Bible thoroughly. In this case, the book of Ephesians. And so, concluding certain ethics and apologetics according to their own fallible reasoning, due to lack of Biblical knowledge. And then when they later found those verses which claim contradiction to their original beliefs, very few repented, the rest would try to find other means of reasoning around the scripture, because to them, repenting what they previously believed was true, would undermine their entire faith.
Q: So what will happen to them?
Tim: God has God's plan. I don't know. But I do not believe this will affect their salvation. However, such use of freedom to deny certain scriptures would give God the right to have judgement upon them.
