On Lyna Lim

Elder Lyna Lim dared to challenge me today if "Bible Study" is important.

After countless emphasis on QUALITY of fellowships, Bible study in the past to this same dear lady, I immediately retaliated by answering this charismatic-in-reformed disguise person: It is important, but I'm not interested in your Bible study for it is low quality.

I can easily prove it: If you don't even know what my view is about Bible study, why did you even ask me to lead? Shows what quality you have for fellowships.

  1. Solomon says:

For everyone, certain impact will result in certain chain reaction, changing one completely.

You should hope and be watchful that this is a good chain reaction.

  2. Tim says:

Admiration alone is not enough. One must reflect the admired values into oneself, such is the quality of Christianity. Otherwise, it is just a mask for jealousy or irresponsible ignorance.

  3. tim says:

    照我看來,她是吃不了苦,做不了大事。
She can't make lemonade out of lemon.
However, she does understand the meaning of the statement. So indeed, a charismatic standing behind the reformed.

  4. Tim says:

A typical at its best, I supposed.

She cannot do it, but would think her "experience" and "age" have given her enough credit for such honor.

How would she do it? By acting as some kind of "adviser" or asking others to do the tasks while she acts as some director behind it. This way it is "achieved by everyone".

    Solution?
Let her be. It is better however, to let her to those simple tasks which she love to do, while the tough high level responsibilities which she feels so much experience in, I'd say leave her out of it, if possible - Only a fool would "invite/welcome" such trouble.
