April 2nd, I was reading the book "Why I left CCM" during lunch time at the Grand Central basement food court, two members of the Unification Church approached me. Their ice-breaker was: What do you think is the cause of world problems.
I was aware that Christian Cults like the Moonies do not concern themselves about the sacrificial salvation of Christ. Therefore their "christian" value concerns only the teaching of Christ, of the Bible, pertaining to how to life a "good" life. Thus, they value teachings over sacrifice.
This time, unlike before with another, Dan and YongSoon (both apparently Koreans as many of the members are), are more on listening than speaking. So I ended up doing much talking. Which led me to think if I should have used responsive communication rather than lecture style.
Evangelically speaking, I would think I should have concentrated on the issue of justification in all fairness, leading them to think about what it truly means to be justified.
