Called Geico and NJM for Insurance quotes for Tesla Model Y as we have the VIN number now from Tesla App, here's the Granola summary of the call:

  • Medical: $15k limit, $2,500 deductible
  • Comprehensive + collision: $2,500 deductible each (Nadia's 1199 Insurance not likely want to be primary payer)
  • Roadside assistance added: $50/year
  • Non-medical benefits (income continuation, funeral): removed
• NJM Thrive app discount: 5% off for tracking driving

NJM seems to give better deal than Progressive which Nadia called before that quoted her: $2100/year.

Followed Tesla App instructions to take photos of trade-in CRV 2012, and submitted credit report check for both myself and Nadia (co-owner). Now the trade-in is pending offer "We'll reach out to you when there is an offer ready for review", and waiting for step 5 "Check back later - we'll notify you when it's time to schedule your delivery appointment: Estimated Delivery Aug 8 - Sept 5"
