The Bronx Fellowship Project

While watching Dr. Tong's Seminary series on Romans, I thought to myself...it would be a great opportunity to attract the younsters, not limited to but focused on Chinese, by teaching them Chinese. And the gospel part is listening to Dr. Tong's Romans series and something similar.

Method such as spotting the word "我", "你", "他", etc.  This would greatly encourage all of these to love Chinese at the same time grow in the knowledge of our Lord.

This notion came while I was struggling with the fact that how those leaderships in my church care not for our youth to listen to Rev. Tong's or any Chinese lectures or sermons. My only conclusion on these leaders and parents are that they want their children to be FIRST americanized: Fulfil the American dream that the parents have worked so hard in achieving. Don't inject any China quality. Yet, this is strangely from only the Chinese who frequent the upper Westside of New York City. I can't say for the other chinese here.

"They don't understand Dr. Tong's culture"...sigh...Even the youth told me they understood it. So I really do not know what these 'genius' leaders are thinking.

I shall give the youth another opportunity by asking them WHY not join the adult Chinese session.

One final chance, if I ever get that chance. After which, when the time is up, may the Lord show them such blessing on the children that are not theirs and that they shall gnash their teeth when they realize the door is shut to them.

Oh, but how could I wish such desolation for them? Is not vengeance God's? So it shall be, that I do only what is permitted of me, by my Lord. Amen.
