Reading Novels and the Rite of Emotions

I find that those who like to read novels often fall in the problem category of psychological behavior in real life, especially novels that have high dramatic emotional essence.

Generally these people have read enough books to overcome their emotions. However, the methods to overcome or the natural reaction produced to overcome such emotions could only come from two sources. One is from God, the other is from men. Mostly, unfortunately, it's from men. Or in the disguise of divine source.

The only way to tell the difference is to ask if this can also be done by non-believers. Only those who seek after God have blessings from God to overcome such behavior rightfully, in the eyes of God.

Hence, if the method, however successful it may be, is only a temporary solution, based on the general revelation still from God, but to everyone including non-believers.

Take a look at Fanny Crosby. Comparing her to a non-believer in her status.

Wishing something good is relative, because we are corrupted. But wishing it based on God's will, now that is truly good.

The name "Satan" doesn't necessary have to apply to only those who kill, murder and deceive. It could apply to those who think they are doing something good but ignore certain truth despite of the level of awareness. Such as the case of Peter, when he spoke against Jesus "Surely this will not happen to you", out of love? out of human love. We need to seek after holy love. Love, is not enough. When Jesus called Peter "Satan", it was no small matter. Not even the Pharisees have this title (The worst they got was "sons of the devil").
