A part of Jewish garment. ציצת(Tzitzit), 繸子(sui4 zi3), κράσπεδον (kraspedon)
Purpose: to look at and remember all the commandments of the LORD, so as to do them and not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you played the harlot, so that you may remember to do all My commandments and be holy to your God. (Numbers 15:39-40)
The woman with the issue of blood (12 years) touched Jesus on the fringe (tassel) of His cloak...(Matthew 9:20). So did others (Matthew 14:36).
Christ warned against those who lengthened their tassels (Matthew 23:5).
A physical reminder of God's law. Reflecting as an extension of God's grace to others.
