YAAI error: $80040209

Yet Another Avi Info is a very good tool to fix out of sync Audio/Video files.

But sometimes, the xvid codec/decoder causes problem.

when i try to sync audio with YAAI i get the following massege:
" The operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected. ($80040209)"

It is understood that the problem lies not with the codec, but the decoder.

There have been suggestions on other decoders, such as Koepi's. I tried, but to no avail.

The decoder I eventually used was the longer known: ffdsshow.

    I'd like to use YAAI to correct sync in avi files, but get the unhelpful $80040209 error message.
    I used GSpot to check if I have the right codecs - I have.
    And have tried both Koepi and ffdsshow decoders.
    I still get $80040209 error.
    Have you any further information on this irritating issue?

      I'm afraid I've lost touch with this. I did recently use another avi fixing tool that is also free. I don't remember the name but it works well in windows 7.
