Today, the gospel is about finding all the good-doers/lovers, and proving to them that there's someone better than them. The success of this gospel depends on how convincing this "Jesus" is better than them and if they would like to join this "Jesus" club, after being convinced.
There's no conviction of sin, though maybe an acknowledgement of it; There's no calling for repentance, though maybe the promotion of humility.
