Huge Meteorite Hit in Russia

It certainly is as bright as day.

Meteorite hits are rare, 5 to 10 times a year. The last large one was in 2008, exploded over Sudan. The largest known one in this era was 1908's Tunguska Event in Russia.

It is also noted, that with so many videos recorded for this meteorite, it is a curious question as to why there are so many dashboard cameras in Russian motor vehicles. The answer was to prove the guilty party in the event of an accident...and I thought a church member of mine was a little too paranoid.
