God's Plan in All Things

1 Samuel 9:3, 16
And the asses of Kish Saul's father were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go seek the asses...
Tomorrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin...

From men's point of view, Saul was sent by his father.

From God's point of view, all was in God's control.

Now about freedom, God does give us freedom. Saul has the choice to go or not to go. However, when that happens, we will only meet our own destruction. Some may argue our freedom can sometimes be of good intention, good results, if good results, it's because of the God, because of His mercy, that we can do good, not our freedom. And when one learned this and felt restricted and therefore denying this from his ego, he's then using his own freedom against God.

For only the Truth shall set us free, and Christ is the Truth. Our freedom is death, freedom in Christ is what we didn't have and need.
