Vocabulary: Specious

Specious: Plausible but false I recently read Gilbert Tennent's "The Danger of an Unconverted Ministry", and found many things I've been sorrowed towards the ministries in America being said there. The term Specious was used to describe such ministers.

Vocabulary: Cavil 吹毛求疵

Cavil: "An evasion of the point of an argument by raising irrelevant distinctions or objections" I didn't know there's a word for this. Tho I have seen many smartypants trying to do this.
