The Essence of Catholicism

Today, I attended (though 30 minute late-Misread the schedule) a Chorales lecture on Bach's St. Matthew Passion by my OSNY director Kent Tritle at St. Ignatius Loyola. I must say it got me thinking about what grasp of true theological doctrine some of the Catholics have, especially when compared to any protestant Christians, from a musical perspective of course.

Although I'm not saying any Catholic is well grounded in sound doctrines, it is truly grieving when one observes protestant products greatly cherished by non-protestants while the protestants pursue after HiPeDeeHop-Yeaeaea-ee-ee-eah! musics.
