Not a topic hard to find since I first and last heard it in one of Dr. Stephen Tong's lecture.
Apparently, this cult of Shingo of Aomori somehow considers themselves descendant of Jesus. They claim, based on some 1933 discovery of Hebrew text which is said to be lost in Japanese authorities seizure, that Jesus went to Japan at 21 to study theology for 12 years and his brother took his place on the cross while he fled to Japan to have a family of his own.
Though it is an interesting add to the collection of the "Jesus did not die on the cross" heresy.
Well, it is certainly a place to visit if I've learned to read Japanese text.
