Coinstar machine in pathmark has always charged me some 8%. Today, was my first day taking my coins to TD Bank: A bank that opens more days (7 days) than others and apparently only one that has coin counting machine and cash in service for public use, no extra charge.
If I have not mistaken, I remembered someone from church complained how TD Bank ruins businesses of other banks by offering such services. I thought to myself, it's not a crime to work hard or provide more services than others.
