Short Fable: Let No Man Despise Thy Youth

The elders of a church instructed a reluctant young man to teach a group of young children. Reluctant because he believes himself to be less qualified than other married and older members of the church.

One day, after noticing an even younger and gifted preacher on the news, one of the elders said to the young humble fellow: "You see, you have much catching up to do...he is even younger than you!"

The young adult smiled and replied tenderly: "I agree. But what's more troubling to me, is that I see those who are much older and sitting on higher position than I and they're not even half of my worth."
