The HK Stemi case

Not long ago, there roused a heated incident regarding the virtual split of HK STEMI & Stephen Tong.

It is not clear to me who initiated the split.

It is likely due to the case of Michael Liu, whom some claim Dr. Tong over-praised the kid.

I had thought of a long response...but I will conclude only with this:

That true, it is important to make the schedule clear as to who is preaching, who is doing what, instead of swapping speakers in the last minute without reason, or appearing to look that way. The confusion, I believe, comes from the dilemma of how to make people listen to another speaker (viz. Michael Liu)?

That said, I will end it by saying that Dr. Tong's chief intent is practical theology or practical gospel. Therefore, those who oppose his actions pertaining directly or indirectly to this intent, are themselves poor at evangelical works: Poor in the sense of unorthodoxy. Either no guts to preach out or too zealous for membership growth.
