Deacon

Do I mock the American Church for electing me as Deacon? Do I say the church is so low on workers that they have to beg? But to cover the "beg", they find excuses? that since a Deacon has a 3-year "contract", it is a good "way" for them to keep someone with the church for at least 3 more years.

No, I leave this testimony for future sharing. Biblical characters flying all around my head, temptations and seduction. It is time for me to watch out. It is time for me to repent, for not disciplining myself enough.  Have I been slacking off on God's commission. I have delayed much. It is only by God's mercy do I get a second chance. Time is running out.

What then, if they have not me. Would they hire a non-Christian? or perhaps an anti-Christ? Oh, what big wounds America has today.

Forgive me, Lord. My task begin now. I have failed you once too much. I shall make myself a vessel for you, for your elects here in America. To serve your chosen people who reside here in the United States, for I know they are. It is impossible to have none here. For you have prepared a harvest, yet, the love of many shall wax cold. But I shall endure unto the end, dear Lord my God, keep me and remember me, for you are the God of my salvation.

What little task this is, how can I fail? Be my strength, be my teacher, be my rebuke, Lord! Be my comfort!
