Love vs Legislation

Recent AGM event at church last Sunday has made me realized God has given a great opportunity for us to see how His way, triumphs over that which is man-made, His kingdom triumphs over worldly legislation even when it was implemented in the church.

I can only pray and hope for His glory to shine yet again in this church.

Nevertheless, we must always proceed with just. Aristotle once said, "The Law is Reason, Free from Passion". One can take the meaning of this to the extreme, believing that humans are robots, or take this with temperance in the matter of passion, after reason. Because Love does not triumph justice, nor vice versa.

  2. Tim says:

Despite errs in any artificial judicial system. What's passed is pass. There should not be rebellious response. Should there be concern with the errors, it should have been addressed before time, thus a lesson of awareness is taught here. Should it still be a concern for future, then it must be discussed with a peaceful mind, for the future. Not overthrowing the authority that has previously been established.

For such is unjust. Trying to justify the irresponsibility of the past.
