The United States National Debt and the Unjust Steward

According to USATODAY on 12/03/2007, (http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2007-12-03-debt_n.htm), the debt has reached $9 trillion, that means each AMERICAN CITIZEN is responsible for $30,000, regardless of your age. That means as of 2008, once you are born in this country or obtained citizenship in this country, you immediately have a $30,000 bill on your head. Say "Thank you, America!".

Could Uncle Sam be attributing his action to Luke 16:8-9? If that is so, then he better make more friends. For the way he's going with tax payers' trust in military budgets, enforcing immigration laws against the non-terrorists and building a political wall against the united nation, it doesn't look too good with the rest of the world right now.

We see injustice in this world, it doesn't mean that we will have to be unjust. But we must use the inevitable resources in this corrupted world to build that which is permanent, for God. And since it is for God, we must watch ourselves so carefully that even when dealing with these resources which is the product of the corrupted world, we must not be like the unjust steward in Luke 16, we must still be responsible and just.
