The beach boardwalk has these history panels telling you how it was vibrant for fishing industry until the effect of the lead from the biggest American paint manufacturer in the 60s polluted the area which wasn't apparent until the 80s.
Now, with my underwater drone, I do see some crabs and tiny fishes. Better than Keansburg somehow. I'm not sure if the weather season would have any impact on this as my Keansburg drone visit was much later and colder.
