So Little Time

I wish I had all the times I need. So much to do, so little time.

Need to sleep...very tired, very dizzy.

My dream on Relativity

Why would I dreamed that the speed of light is not constant?

Has it not been proven so? In some consideration of relativity, I had concluded that c is not constant in various frames. Seems to me a mistake of the anxiousness. But this rarely occur in dreams. At least not in mine. I do however, find myself constantly competing with time lately.

Seems that my time management needs some improving. Considering a few factors, eliminating the unecessaries, preserving the valuables, upholding the goal.

My computer memory problem

It seems that upgrading the powersupply to the power hungry desktop system is not enough, although I still believe that it helped to some extend. However, it would appear that my 2x512MB memory sticks are the culprits.

Microsoft's memory test program froze while testing them. Perhaps I'll test them one by one and may have to settle with just 512MB for the meantime.

I've heard stories that memory problem could even be caused by improper motherboard installation, for example, motherboard part touching tower metal thus creating unexpected voltage vs current hence problem.

I do not have time to look deeper into these right now, as long as I don't run memory hungry programs on this system, it barks like a nice little puppy.

Set Example, Holiness, a Servant of God

It is crucial that when one preaches a message of God, especially that of instructions, commandments, one must already show oneself's example. Otherwise, one is not with God, God is not with one, one has no power, no authority.

Hence it is important that a servant of God's witness must be honorable, righteous. The servant must be holy.

It is not surprising that some servants of God could fail. For it is a prove that all humans are weak. But nontheless, this should not be an encouragement.

Having a certificate does not mean one is called by God nor is academic and theological studies not important. Otherwise, it is materialism. Thus, having a certificate, human verification, does not necessary mean one is called by God. One that is called by God has authority recognized by many nonetheless; by God, despite time; by men, sometimes beyond one's eathly life. God according to His wisdom, sometimes permits deceitful things even in the physical church, sometimes he permits not. It is being deceived if one assumes all things in such church is favorable in God's eyes. For that is only in the invisible church.

To quote from Dr. Stephen Tong, I serve the invisible church, but because I am physical, in a physical world, I must also serve with others in the visible church to proclaim the power and kingdom of God. God of Abraham, of Isaac and of Jacob, the God Jehovah. I, Timothy, will lift the name of Christ and show others his glory, the one I worship. The one and only true God.

The Best Laptop Specs Ever

My opinion on Best Quality Laptop Configurations (Starting from the most important criteria):

1. Touchscreen

2. Long Battery Life

3. Built-in Wi-Fi

4. Bright screen display even in daylight. A few technologies of such are out there.

5. Built-in Mic

6. Physical: Small enough, light weight. Such as Fujitsu's P1120

7. Fast enough.

Unfortunately, there is no such laptop in the market. The closest match now is Fujitsu's P1120 and SONY's PCG-TR3A. If only some of TR3A's features are added to P1120, or vice-versa.

New Machine Problem

Although it seems to run well. But I also realized that my DVDRW version is abit outdated and thus giving some problem as a driver, causing certain program (chesstiger) to stop operating. Upgrading the DVDRW SOHW-1633S to SOHW-1653S by flashing the firmware from BS0H to CS0P seems to have fixed this. And perhaps also fixed the problem with installing OS via this DVDRW drive.

New Machine up and running great!

Well, it seems that the new power supply unit really cooks things up.

I have been running WinXP Smoothly without any problem since...about the last 5 hours.

I'm gonna recommend at least 425Watt for the latest pc and graphic cards.

In my case:
Pentium 4, 3.06Ghz.
1GB RAM
ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 8500, 128MB VRAM (I think this is power hungry)
200GB HDD.

Now I can start whatever projects I have been working on...quick.

My new desktop computer

It was a cheap one. Only $430. Therefore, I guess I had taken the risk of purchasing a erroneous product. However, the specs are very impressive. Pentium 4, 3.06Ghz, 1GB RAM memory, 200GB Maxtor HDD, DVDRW-Drive, ATI-All-in-Wonder Radeon 8500 w 128MB Vram. Wireless Keyboard/optical mouse.

So, how better can it get? it's the best config for this time. Unless there are malfunctions which is very hard to avoid in the case of second-hand product.

The problem of this system: It likes to reboot on its own.

[@more@]

I have come to a few educated conclusions. I have recently discovered that the bios was "upgraded" incorrectly. Bios upgrade is supposed to be based on the motherboard, not just any available version out there. So one need to confirm the version from the manufacturer of the motherboard. So I corrected the bios version, which is actually an older verison (2002 vs 2003).

1. insufficient power supply: I got 300Watt now. But articles emphasize on higher power especially due to the new line of power hunger video graphic cards. 300 Watt is just the bottom threshold for ATI's new cards. I plan to get a 500Watt if possible, ASAP. Since this is rather cheap, $15 on pricewatch report.

2. One of the drives-DVD or HDD malfunctioned. The only way to test this out is to use other drives. Which I'll save this for last.

3. Malfunction Motherboard. I'll save this for last last.

4. The wireless desktop system seems to be giving me some problem, ie. typing frustration after floppy boot (however, this problem did not occur when I just got the machine, problem seemed to have been solved when I replace it with my own older keyboard/optical mouse, non-wireless. Perhaps a fresh install with these input devices would solve some of the reboot/frozen system error? I'll wait til I have the new power supply and do them all at once. I have had enough of reinstalling again and again. This has been around the 6th time I reinstalled the system. The wireless input system and I are over. Convince me next time.

Galileo Connection

I will be attempting to copy this great book by Charles E. Hummel and perhaps have it available under e-sword.

The goal is to read this book again such that I can remember as much as I read.
