國內基督徒幾年前，喜歡把許多字彙來歷與基督教歷史相配在一起。 其動機如果是謙卑願意學習，那還沒事；但若是以要說服人家信主的態度來解釋這些字匯的根源，若不管事實，那可是非常可怕的傲慢。 現在多人愛用“義”，這字來說明中國人自古以來就認識了羔羊獻祭的意義。乃是羔羊為我死，以至於我被稱義。 我爲了這些扭曲事實的人，追追追，追查這些字根。 這“義”字，說文記錄：。。。从我。从羊。威儀岀於己，故从我。董子曰。仁者，人也。義者，我也。謂仁必及人。義必由中斷制也。从羊者，與善美同意。。。 不是“羊為我”，說“我像羊”還比較好。這樣，雖不合乎聖經，但合乎歷史，合乎實在。 向中國人傳福音不需在其文化裡臉上貼金。
