The one we inherited by the house (backyard hose) was leaking. I bought a replacement from HomeDepot not realizing it was actually damaged since I had not done this before, leaks slightly. We managed.
Now that my wife is getting a sprinkler on Amazon, I guess I'll have to buy a good outside faucet valve bib pipe:
Looks like Home Depot is still the most convenient place carrying them:

I guess the standard diameter is 1/2 inch. But I need to find out the length, HomeDepot has 8, 10 & 12 inches available.
