Some have used the verse in 1st Corinthians 3:1, ...could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal...
to mean that there is a category of Christians called the "carnal christians".
There is no such category. Paul is saying "Wake up! Repent!".
Some would argue in verse 15..."but he himself shall be saved" to defend their point.
But Paul is refering to those who woke up rather late...Do you think a sober builder would still use dry straws to build a house after his close escape from the first fire trial? Thus, it is not a category which believers could dwell comfortably in. Wake up, before too late.
