There is no shortcut nor menopause in Christianity. Therefore Christians must be diligent (no shortcut) and grow (no menopause), regardless of our age.
Many Christians think that they have done their part on Earth by going to churches every week and their only job left is just to wait for heaven. Therese had a great response to this: Spend your heaven on Earth (from St. Therese of Lisieux: I will spend my Heaven doing good on Earth). Stephen Tong has similar phrase: 基督徒的生活是應當在地如天的生活。
