Selling Candies on NYC Subways

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I am not selling money for no basketball team. I am just trying to stay off the streets and raise a little cash..."

Anyone who's lived under the NYC public transportation system (MTA-subways) would be familiar with the above line.

I remember there's a post ad in the subway warning passengers not to give donation on the subway, because if they could spare $2 entrance fee, their intention is very much business investment type, using the name of donation.

I have seen one who seemed to be of African-American male, asking for donation, and when he was ignored, he angrily responded "You either Give or don't Give" Obviously trying to twist the meaning of COMPASSION with DEBT.

We must have compassion, but for the sake of Truth, Christ. Nothing else. Be wise.

I would usually give on the streets, but not in the subways or anywhere that seems like an investment to these people.
