Windows (Quick format vs Full format)

It seems that with quick format, sometimes certain installation files cannot be copied...unless it was done with full format which takes a lot longer for especially larger HDD.

Such is the experience I have at NYGC (New York General Consulting, 18th Flr, Empire State Building) when I tried to install Windows 2003 Server:

With many different versions of Windows 2003 Server, there's always a break during installation telling me that certain files (sonydcam.sys, srgb.icm, msyuv.dll, mchgrcoi.dll, etc.) cannot be copied from the CD/DVD.

Of course, there could be other reasons such as hardware problem, memory problem, etc.

But a full format would give less such problem. I was used to quick format since I don't like to waste any time.
