Two nights ago, after taking several exposure shots at Orion at a very very windy and cold beach in Far Rockaway, my olympus c-5500 motor drive seemed to be filled with wandering terrestrial "asteroids" and failed to operate.
The photographer is on leave now.
Nevertheless, using even 15 second long exposure certainly brings out a lot of hard to see heavenly bodies.
