Surprised that Korin showed up. Though she would be intimidated by an all man group...technically that isn't true, there were one or two ladies attending from time to time. I'm impressed. Eddy brought up an interesting question: Why the difference in contemporary worship today?
I thought for a while, came up with one theory: It appears to be dependent on social media technology. The invention of television and radio, sound systems, etc. which is since the late 1800s.
Pak Tong once commented on the Exodus: That it was the greatest choir ever formed. The entire millions of Israelites singing and praising the Lord after the Red Sea. God was the only audience in such worship. Today, the audience are greater than the singing team. It is the difference between worship and entertainment.
