However, according to Stephen Tong, in his KL 2020 sermon, Keller seemed to have implied that Christians don't necessarily face pain. Perhaps a slip of mind. Of course, Keller never really emphasizes pain as something we should thrive above with God's grace. More like "just hang on and trust God" part of the truth.
