Geovision: Installing OCX issue

Accessing its webserver, it keeps trying to install OCX...or says: "the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

The solution is just to run IE as Administrator.

OliveTree.com Incompetency

Never buy Olive Tree books via the apps on smart phones. Do it through the main website, otherwise, there may not be any refund, the books would be more expensive, etc.

As for general resources, OliveTree's materials are a lot of them miscategorized, ie. book as commentaries, etc. Granted, there are some good materials as well, but at a price.

If it is not for my smartphone, I would stayed with e-sword. Cheaper and lots of free modules. Logos' Bible app for smartphones could prove more useful as well.

Wise Travelling

For flights
http://www.airfarewatchdog.com
It allows a price search to anywhere from a chosen destination.

http://www.skyscanner.com
Another good flight fare resource with similar features.
The cheapest fair I've seen is $53 per person round trip between NYC and Cape Code (HYA).

For cruise, there are plenty. Cruise to Nowhere is a keyword for destination that is at sea. Usually people do it for cruising testing, casino or duty free reasons. Rate is around $180 per person.

The Effect of Presuppositional Doctrine

I do not expect a church that does not preach the Gospel to understand Presuppositional apologetics.

Bible Reading of the time (NT): 1 John

Chapter 1

Purpose of the epistle: 1:4 - to make our joy complete.

Very similar to John 1. Introduction of the Son of God, the Word of life.

1:6 is crucial, especially for Christianity today. What Paul Washer and his kinds have been preaching, which to some, is not reformed and legalistically oriented. But I say nay to that.

v8, 10: We are still not perfect and still sinning.

This chapter, I take it to be the chief reason for fellowship.

Former Playboy bunny Felixia Yeap converts to Islam after exploring Christianity

I don't know why, but my first thought was to blame the charismatics.

Must we Debate

On Janet Mefferd's Show, "Jarrold" from Arlington, Texas, was very offended by William Lane Craig's ministry. That Bill shouldn't go around debating non-believers. Craig, as always, dealt with him kindly.

I must say, Jarrold is one of those example of Christians who caused many in the church to go astray. It is a very irresponsible action. He took verse (John 13:35) out of context. Probably a charismatic. It's all wait and wait and wait...and then the "holy spirit" is supposed to BAM! everything changes!

This is not to say that the Holy Spirit does not work. He works in all conversions. Therefore, when conversion happens, whether approved by the charismatics or not, we always rejoice, if it is true. Even if the charismatics call attention to their version of the work of the Holy Spirit, if it is biblical, it has nothing to do with the charismatics, they are simply hijacking proper reformed notion of the work of the Holy Spirit to make it their version, but hijack is hijack and they are still irresponsible in the great commission and upholding orthodoxy.
