Dealing with Talkative People

For those who love to talk, I let them talk, I believe I'm very fair.

The American Outreach Ministries that Matter

I love two American missionary ministries: 1. The Third Millenium, 2. Heart Cry Ministry.

RCA Ecumenical

I consider myself a reformer. Nevertheless, I have never willingly supported RCA (Reformed Church of America) activities.

Why? It has rejected the great commission of evangelization for world peace, the ecumenical movement. Such is an anthropocentric effort, no matter how Christ-like they claim their ministries. The more non-believers joins their ranks, the less they are able to preach to them, thus as "smart" as they pretend to be, they could only imagine these as somewhat "believers".

On Dealing with Uzzah in Preaching

Today there are many of the likes of Ameristians that have not the heart of preaching yet very enthusiastic about SUPPORTING. Whenever I find myself a chance to evangelize, there seems to always be some "supporters" joining in to "interfere" with their garbage. Therefore, I must know at that moment, if I was given the authority of a preacher at that moment: For if that is so, I have the responsibility to rebuke for any error; if not, I should leave and let these "supporters" do what they think they must do-that the blind lead the blind.

Prayer for all churches, including CCGC

It is important that I pray for all the churches, the orthodox ones, including CCGCLI, that they remain faithful to the Lord, in grace and in knowledge. There're certain in CCGC that I often prayed for, so that the grace of God does not leave them, that they be the ones in God's assurance of salvation, including their offsprings. Everytime I pray for them, I have to be reminded and pray for CCGC. Although I have often times wondered that these should remain at CCGC, not because of the state of the church, for the state of the church must be honored, yet not be pitied upon, as the body of Christ, but because of the spiritual welfare of these individuals within my concern.

Judging from the going ons of the world today, the temptations, the attractions, Christians today are easily distracted from the holy relationship with our Lord, which should not be. I pray for God's mercy upon us all.

May God grant me patience and understanding in the handling of my surroundings.

Verses On Hypocrisy in the Old Testament

Psalms 28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

When We Sin

When we sin, often times the response is "We are weak". Nonetheless, we must know that there's no excuse. There's no excuse to our sin, there's no excuse to our weakness. We sin because we do not want God to be ruler in our lives, and God does not listen to sinners. But watch and pray, for the spirit is indeed willing.

The Quarrel of the Elects

The doctrine of Predestination is a deeper study of God's grace.

Calvinist: My very decision to be a Christian, could only have happened if God has decided for me first.
Arminianist: God provided grace first, but we each have to decide to believe in Christ, therefore, it is ultimately up to us to decide. A freedom given by God.
Calvinist: Even so, a freedom ONLY for the elects. For one can say 'Lord, you save me because you make me choose you by your mysterious grace'; but one cannot say 'Lord, you save me because I choose you, period'.
Arminianist: Then what about those who are not saved? Because they choose not God? or because God chooses not them?
Calvinist: Ah, a question with a hidden motive. Then let me ask you, 'when men fall, whose choice is it? men's? or God's?

The Arminianist thought to himself, 'If I say men's choice, then he would say why then do you ask the question you already knew what my answer is; If I say God's choice, then I'm in God's fury; and I know if I say I cannot tell, he'll say, neither answer I you."

For God's sovereignty is beyond our understanding of dictatorship. May the elects of God rejoice not in pride nor in relaxation, but in humility and fear of God of this freedom given under God's grace.

On Secrets

If people keep secrets because they think it is for others' benefit, they are usually the only ones who need the benefit.

Nonetheless, there is always order and authority as to how things should be revealed. Christ never gives us the impression that He's hiding anything.
